Opening Prayers and Praise

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds. We praise Him, we seek His forgiveness, we believe in Him, and we put our trust in Him. We seek refuge with Allah from the evil of our souls and from our bad deeds. Whomever Allah guides, none can misguide, and whomever Allah leaves astray, none can guide. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah alone, with no partner, and we bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger.

Opening Quranic Verse

O you who believe, Allah says in the Holy Quran - I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan:

"Those to whom We have given the Book know it as they know their children. Indeed, a group of them conceal the truth, and they know."

By Allah, and they know.

Gratitude for Gathering at the Masjid

Brothers and sisters, I truly thank Allah for this day of gathering. He who has blessed every one of you who have come to His house - say Alhamdulillah - this one happens to be on Bedford Avenue and Fulton Street. You could have gone to any one of the hundred and fifty masjids in New York City. Alhamdulillah for you and those who are in the masjid now and all over the world, on this day of gathering, only for Allah's pleasure. I thank Allah for guiding us to the masjid.

You could now be like so many people working, ignoring the call of Allah. You could be at home, asleep. But Alhamdulillah, Allah guided you and me to come to the masjid for His worship. And I'm very thankful to Allah for that. I praise Allah.

Really, brothers and sisters, if I had the guts, all I would do for this khutbah is say Alhamdulillah, then Alhamdulillah, then Alhamdulillah, then Alhamdulillah, and sit down if I had the guts, but I don't have the guts to do that. I have to say a little bit more, but my spirit is just to praise Allah. That's all I want to do.

An Appeal for Help

Today's khutbah, brothers and sisters, is an appeal. I want you to help me. Please help me. Help me to reach

these people. Please help me. Please.

We thank Allah. We bear witness that there's none worthy of worship except Allah. We bear witness that Muhammad ﷺ is His messenger, His servant, the last of His messengers. And we bear witness that the Quran is the word of Allah, the truth, Al-Haqq, and the last revelation, no revelation coming after it. We ask Allah to bless His messenger Muhammad ﷺ, and his companions, and his family, and the Muslims everywhere. Ameen.

Allah's Mercy and Never Despairing

Only by Allah's grace I stand before you today. Without Allah's mercy and grace, I'm in the dunya. We're in the dunya. We'd be somewhere in the street, with an overdose of narcotics, if not for Allah's mercy. So don't think any of you got it made. When you can see yourself still a Muslim, living in New York City, thank Allah for that.

And if you ever slip, get back up and turn to Allah again. And if you slip again, get back up. Beg Allah's forgiveness, and start worshipping Allah again. If you slip again, get up again. No matter how many times you fall, and you slip, and you make mistakes, turn back to Allah, ask Allah for forgiveness. And never despair of Allah's mercy. Whatever you did, never despair of Allah's mercy.

You are blessed if you are alive today, and you went out and came back, Allah brought you back. Thank Allah for that. And keep your mind focused, trying to be obedient to Allah the Almighty.

The Reality of Violence and Devil Worship

Help me brothers and sisters. Help me get to these people. You know, you heard about what happened in Georgia yesterday. Again, another shooting in high school. I think six students shot. It's not going to end. I don't believe it's going to end. I think it's going to get worse. You have a lot of people involved in devil worship. And we have to help them, to help them stop killing themselves. You have to help me do that. I'm asking you to help me.

Star Wars Mania - A Modern Obsession

This week, I think Wednesday, came the new movie, part of the Star Wars. And I just got a clip of a newspaper article. I just wanted you to see, because if I don't bring these things, you don't believe me. You say, you have to be exaggerating. What I do, I bring them so I can read it to you. So you see, I'm not making it up. And if you think I'm just pretending that I'm reading, maybe I'm going like this, like pretending that I'm reading, I brought it here so you can look. When the khutbah is over, I leave the newspaper here. You see, I'm not making this up.

This new movie, you know, they called the article Star Wars Mania. I think it's called The Phantom Menace. This is the new one that came out. Some of you probably know about it. Here's a man who said that because of their undying devotion - devotion is a religious word, by the way - devotion, undying devotion to Star Wars last night as they line up at the theaters despite threatening skies to catch the midnight premiere of The Phantom Menace.

Now, I want you to understand this. I was reading the newspaper and I wanted to see what time they had this movie, the new movie, right? It came out, I think, Wednesday or Thursday. I can't remember. I think Wednesday it came out. And I was looking at the time: 12 o'clock and 3 o'clock and 5 o'clock. Because most theaters, they show a lot of it in the same theater. So I thought, not bad, but it dawned on me after putting it down that what they were talking about was midnight. 12 o'clock was the first show. And the second show was 3 o'clock in the morning.

Now, they don't get up for tahajjud prayer, but these same people went on a line in the theater waiting outside for hours to get a good seat in the theater to watch a movie. 3 o'clock, 5 o'clock, 6 o'clock in the morning, right? And some - now I think I'm making this up some workplaces have even declared today a holiday. Why a holiday? Because this new movie came out. And they said they know the workers are not going to come anyway, so everybody has off. It's a holiday.

The Foolishness of Worldly Obsessions

And it's more, it's so stupid. These people are stupid. Really, they're stupid people, brother. We're dealing with idiots. I'm serious. They're idiots, man. They are crazy. They're fools.

And see, I have an almanac at home. I have what is called a sports almanac. Now, I read the sports almanac because I don't want to know the basketball scores, how much this person scored, how many rebounds, and how many assists. That doesn't interest me. You know where I go? I want to know the financial and economic impact of the sport. You know this thing, basketball, that people sit down and watch for hours and hours? That's a $1.7 billion industry. And I was reading, I think, Fortune magazine last year said that Michael Jordan has had a financial impact on this society a tune of over $10 billion. That's how much impact one man made on, you know, endorsements and people coming to watch him play. One man.

Our Need for Greater Impact on Society

Now, what I want to do, inshallah, I think that the Muslims have not had a dramatic impact on the society as we should. Right? Agree? So what happens is that we're doing well. How many of us are being guided? Look at the way we dress. Look at the brothers, how you dress. Look how our women, many of them are beginning to dress in a better way. Even our sisters are getting rid of all this pants wearing. See? Should I say it like that? I don't condemn the sisters, right? I just say, see, we're getting rid of a lot of that pants wearing and we're starting now to dress better.

Look how our sisters dress with nice kimonos. They're covering themselves very nicely. But when you look at them and the street, the women, they're not dressed nicely. They're dressed very provocatively. And it's not good for them, it's not good for us. Right? So help me help the people. You have to help me help the people. We've got to give to the people. So we're not having a tremendous impact on the people as I would like, as I think we should have.

Madison Square Garden Dawah Event - August 14th

So what I'm saying to you is that I intend by the help of Allah to have a massive impact. On August 14th, this year, Inshallah, we have rented Madison Square Garden. And we want that day 20 to 25,000 people in New York City and the surrounding areas. What do I want you to do? I want you to help me to bring 10,000 non- Muslims so that we can have an impact on them. Will you help me do that?

I've been negotiating with the Saudi Arabian government to have that day 10,000 translations of the Quran that we want to give freely to those people who come, so at least they can have a translation of this book. What is this book, the Quran? They will have it, Inshallah. We're negotiating with the Saudi Arabian government.

I just came from Washington, D.C. Two days before that I was in Chicago speaking to brother Amir Ali. He is the brother of Dawah in this country. And he's going to send us 20,000 pamphlets about Islam freely so we can give it to the people, Inshallah, when they come to Madison Square Garden.

On that day, Inshallah, we will have Sheikh Mohammed Hassan from Egypt, well-known respected Sheikh, Sheikh Wajdi. We'll have Imam Hamza Yusuf and Imam Zaid Shakir here. These men are dedicated and committed to Dawah to bring the people to Islam, Inshallah. Will you help me? Please.

All I ask you right now is begin to make a list of all your family members, your mother, your father, your cousins, your uncles, your neighbors, your friends. And I want you to think about all those people and you bring them there to that day to program at Madison Square Garden, August 14th, Inshallah.

A Dangerous Truth from the Quran

And brothers and sisters, one more thing. What I want to talk about today, I just have a few minutes. But, subhanAllah, you know, what I'm going to say today is going to be very dangerous for me. They're going to come and get me. So I better hurry up and say it. But what I'm going to talk about today is real dangerous. For me, not for you. Because today I want to make you wake up from being naive.

I discovered something in the Quran that I'm sure many of you have discovered the same thing. Let's read this verse first. When you read the Quran, take refuge with Allah from shaitan, the rejected.

Those whom we gave the book. Who did Allah give the book? Allah revealed the Torah and the Injil. He revealed the Torah to the Bani Israel. What you say, Yahud? The Jews? And the Injil, Allah revealed the Torah to Musa and his people and the Injil to Isa, Jesus and his people. Right? So we know the Torah comes from Allah. The Gospel, the real Gospel, Injil comes from Allah. All of the revelation comes from Allah. We believe in all the books of Allah. Right?

Those whom we gave the book.

They know him. Know who? They know Muhammad ﷺ.

Like they know their own son. Can you imagine? There are some people, they are not Muslims. They are Ahlul Kitab, people of the book.

They know him. They know Muhammad ﷺ. They know him, brother. You stand and try to invite them to Islam and to the message of Allah as if they don't know. No, they know him. They know him. Like they know your own son. Brother, if someone put a boy in front of you and say, Is this your son? You say, Yeah, that's my son. Well, you know your own son. They know this man like they know their own son.

Some of them, they hide the truth.

And while they know it. Can you imagine? There are some Jews who know the Quran is the word of Allah. They know it. They know it. But they won't preach it. They hide it. There are some scholars among the people of the book who know the Quran is الحق the word of Allah. And they know Muhammad ﷺ is the messenger of Allah. They know it. But they hide it from the masses of the people. Right?

The Beginning of Creation

Now, why did I choose this for today's lesson? You know, I don't have time. I have so much to do. I have so much work to do. Really, I want to stop now and just, you know, leave this Salat and finish. But I have to do this. Because, you know, so much to do. And you got so much work to do. And you hate long khutbahs. And I hate giving long khutbahs. So, I want to just stop. And just stop. But I can't. Because I have to say something first.

I want you to go back to our beginning. The beginning of man. Brothers and sisters, quite frankly, this brother here, you, and you, and you, and you, and you, and you, and you, and you, and you, and you, and me, and all of us, Johnny, come lately. By the time Allah created us, everything was here already. Everything. You and I was created on the last day, Yawm al-Jumu'ah, in the last part of the day. Everything else was here. The sun was here. The moon was here. The angels were here. And the jinn were here.

Understanding Angels and Jinn

Today, I want to take a moment to talk about the angels and the jinn.

(يَعْرِفُونَهُ كَمَا يَعْرِفُونَ أَبْنَاءَهُمْ - yaʿrifūnahū kamā yaʿrifūna abnāʾahum)

They know him like they know their own son.

I want you to go back. If you read the Quran, you would have the impression that this creature called Iblis - when Allah said:

"And when your Lord said to the angels, I'm about to place in the earth a ruler, and the angels said, O Allah, are you going to place in the earth that which causes mischief and shed blood and we celebrate your praises and exhort your holy name. Allah said, I know what you know not." (Quran 2:30)

"And we told the angels, Bow down to Adam. And all of them bowed down except Iblis, he refused and was arrogant and was among the disbelievers." (Quran 2:34)

Another place in the Quran it says:

Oh, every one of the angels bowed down.

(إِلَّا إِبْلِيسَ - ʾillā ʾiblīsa)

Except Iblis.

Now if you look at that, you might get the impression that Iblis was an angel. Doesn't it appear like that? Right?

(إِلَّا إِبْلِيسَ - ʾillā ʾiblīsa)

Iblis Was Not an Angel - He Was a Jinn

I was reading a book and it was saying that Iblis was an angel. I said, oh this must be written by a Christian. So I turned in the front of the book and lo and behold it was a Muslim author. Supposed to be scholar. I said, hmm.

So, do you know that it is Jewish philosophy and Jewish teachings and teachings of Christians that Lucifer was a fallen angel. What we call Iblis, they call Lucifer was an angel and not only did he fall because of disobeying Allah but he brought down one third of the angels with him and they said that there was a rebellion in the heavens and Lucifer led the rebellion and one third of the angels fought against Allah and they were kicked out of heaven. This is what Christians and Jews teach. But Muslims don't teach that.

Creation of Angels and Jinn

Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, said to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ that the angels were created from light and the jinn from fire. The angels are creatures of light, created from light. And the jinn created of fire. If you look at naar, fire, and noor, same letters, naarun, fire, noorun, light. But you know, jinn and angels are not the same.

(وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ - wa mā khalaqtu-l-jinna wal-ʾinsa ʾillā liyaʿbudūn)

Allah said, "I've only created jinn and men to worship me." (Quran 51:56)

Allah didn't say He created the men, the jinn, and the angels. So right there, there's a distinction. Why Allah created men and jinn to worship Him, but not the angels? So the angels worship Him. Brothers and sisters, when you read the Quran, you have to be able to read between the lines. Because when you read between the lines, your mind is going to explode with wisdom. Allah gives it to you, but you got to look for it, you got to search it. And then when you search it, Allah show you something.

Articles of Faith

"The Messenger believes in what has been revealed to him from his Lord, and so do the believers. Each one believes in Allah and His angels." (Quran 2:285)

Why must Muslims believe in the angels, but we don't believe - I mean, does jinn exist? Yes, for sure. But is the jinn an article of faith? Belief in jinn an article of faith? No. Jinn exist, but:

(آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَمَلَائِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ - ʾāmana bi-llāhi wa malāʾikatihi wa kutubihi wa rusulihi)

You believe in Allah's books, you believe in the prophets, you believe in Allah, you believe in the اليوم الآخر , you believe in the angels, but you don't have to believe in the jinn. There is a difference.

Clear Evidence: Iblis Was a Jinn

Now, just to make sure, in case anybody wasn't sure, let me get a chance, chapter number 18, verse 50. Listen, here is the answer:

"And when We said to the angels, bow down to Adam, they bowed down except Iblis. He was from the jinn." (Quran 18:50)

Can I mean a jinn?

He is a jinn. He is not an angel. But why Allah seems to put the angel and the jinn so close like that so that so many people believe that Iblis was in fact an angel? I think I know why, Allahu a'lam. I don't... You know, what I'm going to say today, brothers and sisters, is an observation that I made from the Quran. It could be right, it could be wrong. Right? I just say this as I sit down.

(يَعْرِفُونَهُ كَمَا يَعْرِفُونَ أَبْنَاءَهُمْ - yaʿrifūnahū kamā yaʿrifūna abnāʾahum)

They know him. They know him, Muhammad ﷺ, like they know their own son.

Second Part of the Khutbah

(بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم، والحمد لله رب العالمين، والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله وعلى صحبه أجمعين، أما بعد - Bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm, wal-ḥamdu li-llāhi rabbi-l-ʿālamīn, waṣ-ṣalātu was-salāmu ʿalā rasūli-llāhi wa ʿalā ṣaḥbihi ʾajmaʿīn, ʾammā baʿd)

Brothers and sisters, let me tell you this. I'm going to come back and do this another time. I love to read. I love to read and I like also to read literature of people who are not Muslims because when you read their literature you see what they're thinking. And I picked up a book here about Judaism and a very interesting quote. This is, I read a number of books about Judaism but this is what this author says.

Judaism, the daughter of Christianity and Islam compromised on at least three basic tenets of Judaism. They believe that this Islam is not a real religion and Christianity is not a real religion that everything we have we got from them. This is what they believe. This is what they teach. All their books teach this.

A Warning About Speaking the Truth

Remember what I told you that what I'm about to tell you now is going to get me in trouble. But guess what? We're already in trouble. So that just adds to the trouble. I'm going to share with you a very interesting ayah from the Quran and please listen. Remember some of them know Muhammad ﷺ like they know their own son. But they hide the truth.

Listen to the words of Allah. I'm going to let Allah speak. And don't be afraid of any ayat in the Quran. You must remember when Allah says something it's for a reason. What's in the Quran is in there for a reason. And I'm not going to hide any verse. And I'm not going to be afraid to mention any verse. Whoever don't like it. You hear me? And if you're going to be a servant of Allah then don't you ever be afraid to quote any ayat in the Quran and don't you ever be afraid to mention one hadith of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. You hear me? Who said it? Oh Faraj, what are you doing? What am I doing? I'm saying what Allah said.

Those Most Hostile to Believers

"You will find those most hostile in their enmity toward the believers to be the Jews and the polytheists." (Quran 5:82)

No one hates the Muslims more than the Jews and the polytheists, the pagans. Why Allah put that in the Quran? Why is it there? What am I supposed to do with that ayat? What should I do with it? Oh no, that's anti-Semitic, we can't, let's turn the page. Some Muslims come to that and they say, Oh, let him turn the - why he turn the page? Where you running from? It's there for a reason.

Question number one, is that an historical fact? Is it a fact? Most, those who are most vehement in their enmity toward Muslims are the Jews. Is that a historical fact? I'm sure it is. Absolutely.

Those Closest in Love to Believers

But the interesting thing is the verse that follows it and you have to be able to read between the lines:

"And you will find the closest in love to those who believe to be those who say, 'We are Christians.' That is because among them are priests and monks, and they are not arrogant." (Quran 5:82)

Read between the lines and you find the closest in love to those who believe - you, Muslim - those who say, we are Christians. Those who say, see Allah, you gotta understand Allah's language.

(الَّذِينَ قَالُوا إِنَّا نَصَارَىٰ - allaḏīna qālū ʾinnā naṣārā)

Those who say, we are Christians. But Allah doesn't stop there. He says, why?

(ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ مِنْهُمْ قِسِّيسِينَ - ḏālika biʾanna minhum qissīsīn)

Because among them are قِسِّيسِينَ . What's قِسِّيسِينَ? Priests.

(وَرُهْبَانًا - wa ruhbānan)

Monks. Priests and monks. We're not for no monkery. Right. We don't believe in monasteries. Right. But Allah's telling you something. Why they're so close in love, the Christians, so close in love with the Muslims? Why?

(وَأَنَّهُمْ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ - wa ʾannahum lā yastakbirūn)

They are not arrogant. So if they're not arrogant, who is? You've got to read between the lines. Allah is laying it out there for you.

(لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ - lā yastakbirūn)

They're not arrogant.

The Angels Are Not Arrogant

And isn't it interesting? Go through the ayat of the Quran. The angels:

(لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ - lā yastakbirūn)

And the angels are not arrogant. And they do:

(مَا يُؤْمَرُونَ - mā yuʾmarūn)

What they're commanded to do. The angels always do what they're commanded to do. You know how many angels there are? الله أعلم Billions trillions even.

But think about it. When Allah told these angels to bow down to Adam, every one of the angels, every one of them bowed down to Adam. Every one of them bowed down to Adam. And the only one that didn't bow down to Adam, the only one was the jinn. Why? He's too arrogant.

(يَعْرِفُونَهُ كَمَا يَعْرِفُونَ أَبْنَاءَهُمْ - yaʿrifūnahū kamā yaʿrifūna abnāʾahum)

They know him, Muhammad, like they know their own sons.

The Danger of Former Friends Becoming Enemies

Let me give you a lesson. If you didn't get it yet, let me tell you something. The most dangerous person is that person who used to be your friend and now your enemy. There's no worse person. This is why Murtad, a person who leaves Islam, is dealt in a very severe way, especially in the time of war. You're with us, now you're with the enemy. You gotta go, man. You're with us, now you're with the enemy, you gotta go. You know what I'm talking about? You gotta go. You gotta read between my lines. You gotta go, man. You're dangerous.

The Ambiguity of Iblis Among the Angels

What an ambiguity. Iblis and Mala'ika, al-Jinn, wal-Mala'ika. What an ambiguity when you read. It seems like he's right there. It seems like Iblis is right there. Well, you see, Iblis, you would think, could have said, well Allah, you know, you didn't tell me to bow down, you just told the angels. He could say that, right? I mean, but he can't.

See, the Quran covers everything. See what Allah does in the Quran, He covers everything. Allah says to Iblis:

It's Allah who commanded him. Ha, there it is. He can't get away. Allah closed the door. What prevented you, Iblis, from bowing down to Adam when I commanded you to?

"I'm better than him. You created me of fire and him of clay." (Quran 38:76)

So, it seems as if wherever Iblis was, he got the commandment to bow down to Adam too. Even though Allah doesn't say to the jinn, it's clear from the ayat of the Quran, Iblis had the responsibility to bow down to Adam,

The Curse Upon Iblis

Read between the lines. Do you know that Shaytan al-Rajim has the (لعنة - la'nah) of Allah until Yawm al-Qiyamah? He has the curse of Allah until Yawm al-Qiyamah. He's cursed. He can't change. He'll never change. He's - oh, maybe, maybe if I talk to Shaytan, he's gonna read him ayat from Quran? You're a fool. You don't read Iblis that ayat of the Quran. Don't you know he knows? You think you wanna change Iblis' heart? (لا أبداً - la abadan). Can't do it. He's cursed.

And isn't it interesting also that Iblis is no fool. He knows:

You created me. He's no fool. He knows the deal.

So this Iblis, careful, because he didn't become Shaytan until after he rebelled against Allah. You see Iblis in the beginning, but you no longer see Iblis because now he's Shaytan. He had a big position.

Iblis's Army and Position

If you don't believe it, you read hadith. He has his throne above the water. And he has, you know how many people in Iblis' army? You can't even imagine. There are at least the number of human beings in his army, at least that. And they report to him. Yeah, they do. They report to Iblis.

You know, I'm gonna stop here and say this. You know what's interesting? You know Iblis is so arrogant, right? He's better than us. You know what Iblis eats? You know what the jinn eats? They eat bones and dung. You know dung is animal - you think I'm making this up? You read hadith. You read hadith.

You see, if you don't understand Allah's creation, you can't get Allah's creation. You can't get it. We think, what dogs eat? They like bones. Dogs like bones. There are some animals who eat dung. Man, I don't want to say... Dung. Doodoo. Some of you know doodoo. Doodoo. Yeah, some people don't know dung. I have to say doodoo.

The History of the Bani Israel

You know, brothers and sisters, you know what? I said, (سبحان الله - subhanAllah), I start reading between the lines, and I said, you know what? I discovered something. In my conclusion, let me tell you what I discovered, and we go.

We said, if you study the history of Yahud, if you study the history of Bani Israel, you will see Allah gave them prophet after prophet after prophet after prophet after prophet. They were chosen to do Allah's work. They were. They were. But what happened?

The Change of Qibla - A Divine Statement

Do you know that Muslims used to pray toward Jerusalem? The same direction that the Jews pray. And the Jews would never give up Jerusalem. They won't. They can't do it. They will never do it. You hear what I'm saying? They will never give up Jerusalem without a fight. They won't. They know they won't. They give you some of the Gaza Strip, but they're not going to give up Jerusalem without a fight.

Muslims used to pray toward Jerusalem like the Jews. But when Allah changed the direction of the Qibla from Jerusalem to Mecca, Allah was making a statement: from now on, there's a new Qibla. There's a new leader around here. All the prophets that you had, the prophets that you murdered, the evil that you did, now it's over. There's a new man here, Muhammad. Submit to him.

They know him like they know their own sons. But what stops them from bowing down to Muhammad is their arrogance. He's not a Jew. He's a Gentile. He's an ummi. You've got to read between the lines. He's ignorant. We're better than them. We're better than the Arabs. We're better than the black people. We're better than the Americans. We're better than the Christians. We're better than any of them. It's us. We are the chosen people. You're arrogant. You're arrogant.

"Cursed are the disbelievers from the children of Israel on the tongue of David and Jesus, son of Mary." (Quran 5:78)

Curse them. Curse. Some of them are cursed. They can't see. You can't show them. You can go there and do all the good work that you want to do. They'll never accept you. Because they look down on you. You're arrogant. They're arrogant. They look down on you. You Palestinian dog. You Arab. You Muslim dog. You black man. I'm better than them. We're better than them. This is their attitude.

Shaytan's Mission to Prove Us Unworthy

And now... Allah... They want to prove that the Muslims... You ain't worthy. I'll prove to you. Muslims in America... I have you doing what everybody else is doing. They don't want us to believe. They want us to go to disbelief. So what they do? They flood... They flood the society with filth. And they catch some of the Muslims. They flood the society with filth. Girly magazines. Girly magazines. Playboy magazines that catch some of the Muslims. You get the magazines. You get the videos.

They want to prove that you are - you ain't no good man. You're like everybody else. Go to Rikers Island and look at all the Muslims in Rikers Island. Go upstate to the prisons. These are not those who took shahada in jail. These are those who are Muslim and then they go to the dunya. Go to the crack house and see how many Abdullahs in the crack house. Go see how many Muslims on drugs. Go take a look at the Muslims in the whore

house. Go take a look at these Muslims in the streets. Go look at the Muslims who sell pork. Go look at the Muslims who gamble. Go look at the Muslims who have homes on interest. Go look at them. You unworthy. I'm telling you we're better than them. Look at these Muslims.

That's what Shaytan does all his life. To prove that we're unworthy to be Khalifa. That's his whole destiny. He's not stupid. Oh Allah please respite me until the day that they're raised up. Allah say you among the respited. He's not stupid. He know he can't do anything except the will of Allah. Allah let him do it.

A Call to War Against Falsehood

I'm finished. Keep your eyes open. I'm going to war against all of the opponents of Allah's message. I'm asking Allah to help me, to empower me to fight for Allah's cause. And if I have to die doing it, then I have to die. And if they come after me for standing up on the Quran and the Sunnah, let them come after me. And if I have to go alone, I'll go alone.

But what can we do? Let me tell you what we can do. And this is the end. We got to get those people. Those people. Who's not proud. I'm going to give you one verse from Quran to tell you why you must help me. Then we finish. That's because some of them are arrogant. And some of them are not arrogant.

The People Who Accept the Truth

Listen. These are the people of the book. The Christians. They say:

"And when they hear what was revealed to the messenger, you see their eyes flowing with tears because of what they recognize of the truth." (Quran 5:83)

What was revealed to the messenger. You see the eyes flowing with tears. This is your mother, your cousin, your uncle. You brothers who took shahada. Your Christian family. When they hear the ayat of Quran. When they hear the truth. You see many of them like you. The eyes start shedding of tears. Because of what they recognize of the truth.

That's why you became Muslim. I became Muslim. You became Muslim Yahya. Bilal you became Muslim. You became Muslim. You Ibrahim became Muslim. You Ali became Muslim. You Sabir became Muslim. You Qasim became Muslim. You Jihad became Muslim. You Bashir became Muslim. You became Muslim because you heard the truth and you accepted it. And you were not too proud.

They say, "Our Lord, we believe, so write us among those who bear witness." (Quran 5:83)

Guess what? This is the call to dawah. What's my evidence?

When they hear. When will they hear? Who will bring the message to them? Who? Who will bring this message? Who will bring it? Waiting for the Yahud to bring it to them? They will never. The only ones who can bring it are you and I.

A Warning Against Arrogance

And my warning. This is the warning. If you and I are not careful, we will be in the position of the Yahud. The position that they are in now. We will be in that position. If Allah chooses to bring someone else. A new people. Maybe the people from Somalia. Humble. Or the people from Bangladesh. Maybe Allah would raise a man among them. And if Allah raises a man among the Bangladeshi, among the Somali, are you willing to give bay'ah? Are you willing to give your pledge of support?

If Allah makes among those from Kosovo or Bosnia or Turkey the Amir, are you willing to give bay'ah? If Allah makes a black man the Amir in Amsterdam, are you ready to give bay'ah? Are you ready to obey him? Or will you now say, I am better than him. I have been around all these years. Arabic is my language. And then become a Shaytan. Be careful.

Your worst enemies are those who used to be your friends and then became your enemies. You who are married, be careful. That woman used to be your friend and she is now your enemy. She can destroy you. That man used to be your husband. Now divorced from you. Can destroy you. Those who used to be your best friend can be your worst enemy.

Final Warning and Advice

The Yahud had revelation upon revelation. Rejection. And now Allah brought somebody new. Be careful. 1400 years of the Quran. And if you don't do anything with it, Allah will bring someone new. And be careful. The one that Allah will bring new, not a prophet. No. Never. Prophet Muhammad is the last prophet. But if Allah chooses a people to do his work, be careful. Because you can become an enemy because of your arrogance.

That's why the prophet said obey the Amir appointed over you, even if an Abyssinian slave with a head like a raisin.

Closing Duas

May Allah bless us and forgive us our sins and have mercy upon us. May Allah open up our hearts to accept His deen, to accept the Quran. We ask Allah to make us soft to accept the truth. To make us accept the truth when we see it from the Quran and from the sunnah. We ask Allah to have mercy upon us.

We ask Allah the almighty to help our leaders. Guide them. Give them knowledge. Give them sense. Give them vision. We ask Allah to guide the Muslim men, the fathers and the husbands. Bless them that they may guide

their families. We ask Allah to bless our wives, our mothers, our sisters, our daughters. Bless them. Make them pure.

We ask Allah to bless the Muslims all over the world. In every part of the world. Every country. Every place that there's a Muslim. We ask Allah to guide them. Forgive them their sins and guide them on sirat al-mustaqeem.

We ask Allah to help the Muslims especially in Palestine. Help us to deliver Jerusalem in the hands of the Muslims. Help us to be strong enough to live the fight and to die to liberate our land. We ask Allah to help the Muslims in every area. Every place.

"Our Lord, accept from us. Indeed, You are the Hearing, the Knowing." (Quran 2:127)

"Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear." (Quran 2:286)
